Kuvani sajder za hladne dane

Idealan napitak za hladne večeri

Tokom prohladnih jesenjih i zimskih večeri volimo se zagrijati uz šoljicu toplog napitka kao što su mlijeko sa cimetom, čaj, topla čokolada ili alkoholna verzija – kuvano vino.

Ali za one koji bi kuvano vino zamijenili drugim alkoholnim toplim napitkom, tu je kuvani sajder (fermentisano alkoholno piće napravljeno od soka jabuke), piće slatkaste arome i pikantnih nota citrusnog voća i cimeta.

Recept

Sastojci:

2 l sajdera od jabuke

1 narandža

12 cijelih klinčića

4 štapića cimeta

15 bobica pimenta

1/4 kašičice mljevenog muškatnog oraščića

7 cijelih mahuna kardamoma

2 kašike smeđeg šećera

Priprema:

Prvo naspite sajder u lonac, poklopite i stavite na srednje jaku vatru. Dok se sajder zagrijava, ogulite nekoliko debelih traka kore od narandže. U oguljeni dio narandže utisnite polovinu klinčića. Stavite meso narandže sa klinčićima, oguljenu narandžinu koru, preostale klinčiće i sve ostale sastojke u lonac sa sajderom od jabuke. Držite poklopljeno i smjesu zagrijte do vrenja, a potom smanjite vatru i ostavite da se kuva 20 minuta. Upotrijebite fino sito kako biste procijedili vrući kuhani sajder od jabuke. Ako želite, možete dodati malo burbona, brendija ili ruma kako biste malo pojačali ukus. Poslužite topli sajder u šoljicama ili čašama u koje ste dodali jednu krišku narandže i štapić cimeta te, po želji, zvjezdasti anis.

O sajderu

Sajder je fermentisano alkoholno piće napravljeno od soka jabuke. Alkoholni sadržaj sajdera varira od dva do 8,5 odsto alkohola po zapremini ili više. Ali kada se dodaju šećer i dodatno voće i kada se sekundarnom fermentacijom povisi sadržaj alkohola, sajder se klasifikuje kao vino od jabuka. Sajder od jabuke se može praviti od bilo koje vrste jabuka, mada se pojedine vrste gaje prvenstveno za tu svrhu.
